Flutterings

Went to a Paul Oakenfold concert last night. Felt my age. (Concert started at 8 p.m. We got there a bit before 10 p.m. Oakenfold didn't start spinning until 1 a.m.) Watching various kids demonstrate their light-stick twirling skillz was cool, though.

Yearning quantified: the local public library has 509 holds on Half-Blood Prince (303 standard print, 41 large print, 165 audio). One of the local bookstores will be featuring live owls at their midnight party.

Wicked funny Snape/Lupin fics: Severus in Wonderland and Every Snupin Ever Written. From the latter:

"You've been reading those books again, haven't you?," Hermione cut in. "The ones with the overly handsome wizards with impossibly chiseled chins and huge bulges in their trousers and the witches clutching them for dear life with their robes torn open, exposing huge, bulbous breasts."
